We are about to embark on a journey.

We are going to make this a 4 part journey and I have a feeling it’s going to be a little hectic…

We’re starting in Georgia and heading towards Arkansas where our beautiful Big Girl lives with her perfectly perfect husband. We are going to spend the evening with her, have dinner, drop off 15 vases (another story for another time) re load again and head to destination #2.

Destination #2 is Texarkana. I have a Dr’s appointment there so we are going to sleep in at the hotel until our faces can no longer be pressed like biker shorts on a fat lady and I’ll take the kids to the mall head to the Dr and then load them up again for another few hours to destination #3.

Destination #3 is Mt. Perfect- did you really think I wouldn’t stop in my all time favorite place? No way! We’re stopping here to pick up Kid1’s friend Chad to go on vacation with us. Kid3, Kid4 and I are spending the night with my dear friend Linda who so generously puts up with me and my crazy behavior. Kid1 will spend the night with Chad, Kid2 will spend the night with her best bud and that’s that. Until…. We load up and head to destination #4.

Destination #4 is Roswell New Mexico where my parents live and where Kid3 is going to camp. (more on camp tomorrow) Then we will all unload, stretch our legs and be loved by my parents. It will be nice to stretch our legs for a few days with no long trips.

I can’t even begin to tell you what the trip home will look like because I think we may be making more like 5 or 6 stops… don’t fret friends, I will recount the countless hours in the car with words and pictures!

I know you can’t wait!
