Bat Girl and I took a day trip to Atlanta to meet The Pioneer Woman and buy her new cookbook. We had a great time! We waited in line for 4 hours but we sat on the floor and talked and laughed and had a fun time. We also discovered that we may be too old to go to a late night book signing… you live and you learn right?
It was totally worth it, she was sweet and so kind. After signing hundreds of books with not even a second of a break she smiled with a kind genuine smile at us and visited with us for a second. She was worth the wait!
