Okay, here's on for ya... you though $8 pumpkins were bad? My MIL is here visiting and she took the kids to a pumpkin patch and paid $12 EACH for 2 pumpkins!!!
Our neighbors are having a carving party next Sunday, so we're saving them until then. I'm afraid they're not going to look as good as yours though! The "B" is awesome! :)

I bet yours will come out great. Mr. B happens to be very talented in the pumpkin carving dept. and aparently the kids got it from him! They have enjoyed it as a tradition over the years more than I ever thought they would. It's a fun thing to do.
Ours already molded, they had to stay in the house with all this rain, so we threw them away yesterday. I was sad to see them go so soon before halloween. I told the kids next year we should paint them.
PS- I made pumpkin butter last year as a proj with Kid4 and it was super easy. If you think your interested I'll email you the recipe.
