introducing...... (drum roll please)

Weezy.

This gorgeous girl has stolen my sons heart. He met her a couple of years ago and I knew when I saw the way he looked at her that there was something special about her. This girl is beautiful inside and out, she is brilliant and they are so lucky to have found each other in this big world. Weezy is an amazing friend to Kid1 and the love of his life. We are so privledged to spend time getting to know her. She is truly a pure hearted lovely girl. I could not have chosen a better girl for him.

Isn't young love amazing? Don't you wish you could feel young love one more time, or do you have times when you do feel it? I have times when I look at Mr B. and feel like Im 15 again. If we could bottle young love we'd make a million dollars.... but it seems like cutting young hearts out might be a crime..... hmmmmm.......?

Weezy, gah- I luh ya!

Kid 1 is in love

"I am no one special, just a common man with common thoughts. I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me, and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect, I've succeeded as gloriously as anyone who ever lived. I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and for me, that has always been enough." ~The Notebook

dying easter Hair

Kid2 loves to have a streak of color in her hair. We usually do only pink. For Easter we are adding a little turquoise too. I'm excited to see how it will turn out. Kid4 begs every time to have her hair done too. I usually say no. Today I said yes... we'll see how it turns out. A little girl time with added color won't hurt anything....... RIIIIIIIGHT?

Happy birthday baby girl (March 25th is her birthday)

My Dear Baby sister,

You changed my life in one second. I can remember the minute I laid eyes on you, I was instantly in love. There is no way to describe how my heart filled with warmth and love that afternoon. There is no way to describe how hard I fell in love with you.

Some days I’ll be sitting and thinking about you without even realizing it if I close my eyes I can feel your soft little hair in my hands and your tiny fingers touching mine. If I squeeze my eyes tight I can hear your little voice calling me once again. The days that I think of you and remember when you were a baby are so real and I want to keep my eyes closed forever and think of you so tiny and soft. I can just see your little fat feet squeezed into those little mary janes and the lines they left when we took them off of you. I can just see you in those little blue overalls with the cow on the front waddling along just learning how to walk. Some days I can still feel you in my arms, the weight of a beautiful baby girl looking at me making me feel like I owned the world.

I often say that you were my first true love. I always had M, I never knew life without him but you, oh you I remember life before you and I cherish you more because of it. I learned how to love a baby and a child because of you. I learned how to hold a child’s hand and kiss a boo boo because of you. You made me a better mother when I had my own children.

I love you more than I have ever told you because there are simply not words to describe a bond between sisters. The miles and circumstances have separated us physically but my love for you is a strong one. Please know I adore you, please know I thank you for teaching me so many valuable lessons in life. Please know that you were my first true love.

Little Sister, I love you forever and always.
~your Big Sis~

farming

farm **dictionary.com's definition**
–noun
a tract of land, usually with a house, barn, silo, etc., on which crops and often livestock are raised for livelihood.

farm **my definition**
a group of something like animals, books, toys, anything in a group.

SOOOOO..... I saw THIS sign on the door of a bathroom (obviously) and I was so excited as I passed it because I thought this meant that there would be LOTS of different hand sanitizers inside.... you know like a GERM FARM? Like a kill a germ farm? Does this make sense to anyone else or am I nuts?

by the way I was sick thinking that my hands might actually BE a germ farm when Bat Girl pointed out what it really meant!

My mom sent me the sweetest thing for my birthday. Kid4 called it a "looking cake".

I promise I'll be back to blogging soon. If it's not one thing it's another around here. My kids have had been fighting the flu and losing lately. Kid4 threw up last week almost all week and then again on Sunday. Mr. B's been out of town and we all know I'm NOT a good single parent. When he gets back tonight I might hide under my bed for a week.

I miss you.
